Before using iRobot Roomba for the first time, you must activate its battery by removing the yellow pull tab from the bottom of your robot vacuum cleaner.
Please follow these instructions to operate your iRobot roomba series vacum cleaner:
To wake up your robot, place it on the Home Base and press CLEAN once. It will beep and the indicators on the robot will illuminate.
Download and connect to the iRobot HOME App (only for Wi-Fi connected 600 and 800 Series).
To start a cleaning job, press CLEAN on the robot again.
Only Wi-Fi connected robot models will return to the Home Base to recharge if the roomba 630 vacuum battery gets low before completing a cleaning job (provided the robot was on the Home Base when you started a cleaning job). After the iRobot vacuum cleaner battery has been recharged, your robot will automatically return to where it left off to resume and complete the cleaning job.
To pause your robot during a cleaning job, press CLEAN on your robot.
To send your robot back to the Home Base, press Dock on the robot.
To end a cleaning job and put your robot in standby mode, press and hold CLEAN until all indicators turn off.
