While a swollen pack does not represent a safety concern, damaged or swollen components should not be used. Should you have an issue with a battery pack swelling, we recommend discontinuing use and replace it with a Dell authorized battery.<\/div>\n<p>If you are experiencing one of the following symptoms, follow the troubleshooting procedure below to verify if the AC adapter (charger) and <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.battaussie.com\/dell\/inspiron-1545-battery.htm\">Dell inspiron 1545 laptop battery<\/a><\/strong> are working correctly.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Battery<\/strong> &#8211; If you notice the following <strong>battery symptoms<\/strong>:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Battery is not holding charge.<\/li>\n<li>Battery indicator LED does not glow or blinks always.<\/li>\n<li>Battery is not recognized by the PC.<\/li>\n<li>Battery charge is stuck at a certain percentage.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><strong>AC adapter<\/strong> &#8211; If you notice the following <strong>AC adapter symptoms<\/strong>:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>AC adapter is not able to charge the battery.<\/li>\n<li>AC adapter is not able to power on the laptop PC, the lights or LEDs do not illuminate.<\/li>\n<li>AC adapter LED is off.<\/li>\n<li>Error message &#8211; The <a title=\"Dell Studio 1557 Laptop AC Adapter\" href=\"http:\/\/www.battaussie.com\/dell-laptop-ac-adapter\/studio-1557-adapter.htm\">Dell Studio 1557 AC Adapter<\/a> type cannot be determined.
